Alli is just a little different from her siblings. They love to play, race, and dive. Alli often floats to the outskirts of the pond. She is quite enjoys meeting curious critters in the woods. But her solitary contentment leaves her siblings wondering what is wrong.

Mama duck understands that each of her ducklings is unique. Although she doesn't understand Alli any better, she is wise enough to encourage the ducklings that different doesn't always mean wrong.
